Default Why would my console have been removed?

I have a 1998 s70 with 163K on it and I noticed the console entire thing and the door panels have been removed at 1 time before I got the car, and seemed to have been superglued back in place. It creaks really bad when driving also. Why would someone have removed the entire console and door panels? You can see where they glued it back in place and there are cardboard pieces stuck between the glass and the console to help obviously with the noise. Could they have been fixing a bad connection or gauge possibly? It also shakes horrible at 75-80 highway speeds. The whole cars seems to shutter at 75 miles an hour and above. What could be the cause of this?
