Worn, sticky steering wheel
Recently, I purchased a 1999 S70 T5 - loving every minute of it. However, with 140k miles on the odo, the steering wheel's worn all around to the point that it's sticky. I've tried wiping it down with an Armorall cleansing wipe, although if anything, that made it worse.
Has anybody got a home remedy solution for this sort or issue? I'm imagining it's pretty common.
How feasible is a steering wheel swap from a 98-00 S70/V70 as a DIY (i.e. is the air bag part of the steering wheel assy)?
Thanks

Update: after rubbing it down with many, many leather wipes, the wheel looks and feels a lot better. The leather is still heavily damaged, but the wipes brought it to the point that I can hold off on a Wheelskin for a little while.
