Default Electrical Problem HELP

Well I have never had this happen to me before but today all the controls on the stering wheel didn't function also the turning signals dont work and the computer wont respond. the window washer fluid wont come out but the wipers work.....could it be a fuse? if so where is it and how do I change it? everything else seems to work just fine so for a recap

Items that dont function anymore
turning signals
computer controls
volume
tuner controls
cruise control
winshield wiper fluid

everything else on the instermint panal is functioning fine all the windows work locks work headlights work regular sterio controls work

Can anyone help? I am moving to another state in just 4 days and will not have time to take it anywhere but would not like to put others or myself in danger driving without signals and the cruise is always nice.

My guess would be fuses... Have you checked them?

Here... got this from searching on google:

"I had the same issue where the turn signals were not working, neither was the steering wheel controls (radio, cruise control, etc). I've just replaced the two fuses, 21 & 22, and now it works again. Even though the two fuses I replaced did not appear to be damaged."

I had the same issue arise and it ended up being software related. I took my S80 to the dealership, they reloaded the necessary software and everything started working proplerly again. I would recommend checking the fuses first, and if that doesn't work take it to the dealership for a free diagnostic.

thanks guys. I will check the fuses and I really hope that is all it is but I called the dealer today and they said it is most likly a modual in the stering colum and would be about 1000 to fix so I am praying for fuses.

They told me the same thing over the phone. Like I said, it ended up being software. Don't sweat it, and if the give you that high of an estimate for a repair, get a second opinion from a reputable independent garage.
