I have a 1999 S80 T6, i am wondering where the evap canister is located specifically. I got under and went looking, I did see a rectangular box near the rear exhaust, kinda in the middle left part of the vehicle. is that it, how on earth do you get to it?


Also, I am also wondering...where the evap line starts just under the fuel cap area, above the wheel well, there is a small round black canister hanging with the bottom end open, what is that?

FYI: i have code P0442 tripped and have already replaced the gas cap to no avail


EDIT: It looks like the secret is getting the rear tire off, then I was able to find the evap cannister and "J" hose which does look like it has a nice long crack in it. I have no idea how to get to it though as my body, hands and arm are too big?
EDIT2:Got one end off (cannister end), the one with the cracks. Not going to be possible to get to the other end. looks like youd have to drop the exhaust and gas tank to get to it. Wrapped some duct tape over the cracks as a quick fix
