How do I figure out this message?
I have a 2000 S80 and the computer always has the caution light on and sais "bulb failure positon light" does anyone know what that could be? as far as I can see every light I can see works just fine. all the bulbs are functioning. can I reset the light and if so how?

It's one of the all-time rear running lights. Check the three bulbs in each of the taillights on the car and one of 'em should be out.
To replace them, open your trunk and twist the **** on the side and pull open the cover. Then just replace the bulb, I think you have to squeeze some clips to get to the bulbs.

I would suggest getting the bulbs directly from the stealer (i.e., the dealer). First time I had a bulb go out I replaced it 3X to no avail. I ended up buying the whole bulb socket housing for the taillight & it wasn't until then that I realized the car doesn't like the Sylvania bulbs from Autozone. I tested this theory a couple more times with consistent (yet intermittent) results. However, the Sylvania Silverstarsfor the parking lights work fine.
