Default New Front Suspension Clunking Sound

I just had a new front suspension replaced on both sides of my 2008 S80 3.2 with the common parts and two wheel alignment. Since, I hear a heavy clunking sound when going over bumps, and when the steering wheel is fully turned and I move forward slowly, I hear some sort of sound of a part moving like maybe something is loose. Hard to describe it. Obviously, I'm taking it back to the shop, but thought maybe someone hear has knowledge or experience of the source of my problem.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a drop link might have worn of failed. I am investigating a similar problem.

common causes of clunks - spring seats failed or the strut assembly is loose at the top, sway bar end links/bushings have issues. Do you feel any odd handling behavior like the front end goes in and out of alignment?

Thank you... No handling nor alignment issues. Took it in, the Service shop tightened the struts, but the noise continues.

On to Plan B. I'll post an update after I take it back in.
