Default Passanger Window Sliders

Hey Folks, I just bought a 1999 s80 that needs a little work and I'm slowly learning how fix some of the issues it has become a fun hobby. One thing I am having a little issue with is the window on the passenger side... the sliders are both broke so I bought 2 new ones and took off the old broken ones. I have the glass up and the arms on the regulator are free....Where do i go from here???

Thanks All

Tape window to door frame. Check to see if each arm on regulator is not twisted. If not, lube sliders & tracks w/white lithium grease. Check fit of each slider in each track before you connect arm pivots. If sticky, swap sliders. Align pivot ball w/hole in slider. Use pliers & squeeze pivot into slider. Kinda tricky, but do-able. Sliding in clips is another challenge. I started clips before attaching pivots. That made clip install easier. Small mirror & flashlight helped me. Cycle window up & down just a little at first. If satisfied w/function, take window to full travel, keeping an eye/ear on it. On first try, regulator arm popped out on mine. I cycled window up & held switch for a count of 2. I repeated this again. Down, up, hold. Window works like a charm. I had to replace reg. as well. Like I said, do-able. Good luck.

Great thank you! I have the window taped up and got 1 of the new sliders on one of the regulator arms(both were broke so i just bought 2 new ones). Once I get the second one on do I drop the window and get the sliders on the window track??

Thanks again, gonna save me about $150 if i get it...

Yes. A second set of hands might be helpful to manipulate window.

Well I finally got the second slider on the other arm, I dropped the window down and Im having trouble getting the sliders on the tracks... is there an easy way to do it?? I took the window at an angle towards the engine to get on the left clip but was not sure that was the way to go....

thanks again for your help.... i owe you some lobsters!
