Can anyone tell me how to remove my CD changer HU 801 out of my 1999 S80? Please, help.

It is a pain you need to remove the cover under the A/C controls with the pen holder in it.
Then remove the 2 screws holding the A/C controls into the dash.
Slide the controls out which is a pain to get out. You kind of have to slide the top straight out.

Then remove the 2 screws holding the radio in and slide the radio out.

I have a bulb burnt out behind my air conditioner ****. Is this the same way I would go about changing it? And where could I get replacement bulbs? Thanks.

 

Yes tiny bulbs behind that unit.

Disconnect your battery first before removal otherwise airbag warning will light up when you start the car.

 

is that sterio the one with multi cd changer in dash??

 

HU 801 has multi CD player in dash.

Doesnt matter which Stereo HU unit you have, the assembly onto the dash console is the same.
