How do I replace the gear shifter button on 2005 S80 awd 5cyl

 

If you mean the button on the actual gear shifter itself, it would be the entire shifter handle itself. Just pull it up.

 

Rotate the top ring where the boot connects just under the **** 1/4 turn counterclockwise. I used a small channellock plier. Pull down on the boot, then lift up the ****. It will take a good strong pull to get it loose.
