i been having a random problems. all of the sudden my s80 08 2.5T starts showing the SRS then the ABS and then all the rpm speed go to zero, and also all the messages with the red triangle. Sometimes if you drive long enough everything goes back to normal, or if you restart the car everything is normal again. Also sometimes, the car does not recognize that the key is in the car or the parking sensor doesn't work. At first i though that maybe water was getting into the fuse box that is under the glovebox because all the fuses for the things that are failing are in that fuse box. i removed the fuse box opened and cleaned it with electrical cleaner but it still doing the same random things. Does anyone know if is there like a main ground for that fuse box or what else should i check?

 

Hate to say it, but sounds like CEM problems (module under the dash on the driver side (in p2s)) To confirm, you'd need to scan with VIDA and see if there's a ton of CEM codes. Its not a hard module to pull if you need to send it out for repair. These modules are vehicle specific and need to be programmed to yours. If it is having issues like I suspect it is, you can send it out to get repaired for like ~$800.

I do want to add, Hoonk got this one, definitely the DIM. Mine was shot in my car too, but instead of getting it sent out for repairs, I just replaced mine with one that had very similar mileage and the same part numbers on the stickers. Got one off ebay for like $25-30. Not the best nor correct way to fix it, but a fix none the less.
