RE: Tire size
"205 - Width in millimeters of tire from sidewall to sidewall."
And in your case you want 245.
205mm = 8.07086614173 inches
245mm = 9.64566929134 inches
So if I am correct 235mm = 9.25196850394 inches which your running currently. And again if I am correct that means your running a 19"-19.5" rim? Thusly going with a 245 tire it would be that much bigger thusly still have rubbing issues. I might be wrong. If I am someone correct me. I know my numbers are correct though. Did that on a calculator with a conversion program.

RE: Tire size
Hi wooow. I had 18" wheels and (UK, and possibly differently sized) 235x40 ULP tyres, and I too had scrubbing on full lock. Also, the ride was dead hard: tyre-roar very pronounced: turning circle unbelievable, and the mileage from these big fatties, was diabolically low - 13k was the norm. When I bothered to work out that I was never going to use more than about 70% of the car's potential, and wasn't likely to be hurtling around corners in the head-down, ***-up position, I binned the whole lot, and bought 16" & 225 x 55 tyres. Ride is now much more quiet and comfortable: turning circle "acceptable", and I should get double the mileage from a set of rubbers. Now much wiser (and one hell of a lot poorer) but experience tends to work out expensive. Happy motoring. Mike.
