Default Tire size change?

Can anyone tell me what I can expect if I change the tires on my T6 from 225/50/17 to 225/45/17?

speedo will read a little faster than you are actually going, the gap between the fender's will grow,,,, i guess its ok , im contemplating the same, those 50's are harder to find used, but new they are readily available,,,

The best way to determine the correct size to run for speedometer accuracy is simply by the manufacturers RPM which in this case is Revolutions per Mile. From there you can determine how much it will be off or not if you match the Rpm hope this helps. -JS
