Talking Upgrading my stock intercooler in my 2.5t, help?

I've been looking into upgrading my stock intercooler to something a little more heavy duty. I took it to a local shop that makes many custom performance parts including intercoolers. For about 1500 $ they could make me something to fit my car. Only problem is I don't have that kind of money to put into something like that.

Instead, I'd rather find a performance intercooler from somewhere else for cheaper. I hear that some people get there's from http://www.phuzzymotorsports.com but I'm not exactly sure what would fit my car. Any suggestions on the install as well, any parts or things I should know before doing this?

Thanks!

I got an email back from him saying this:

"I was hoping to eventually develop a kit for the S80 as there
is not one currently on the market. The Yonaka Type 10 core that I sell
is probably the core that would be used for the application, but
unfortunately there is no piping available yet, so it would need to be a
custom job."

Does that sounds correct, I've had no major mechanical experience and I have to do the install my self due to money restraints.

Not to judge, but do you think it's wise to invest money in an upgraded turbo if you don't have the cash for it, or have "money restraints"? I know everyone has their priorities of what to spend their extra money on, but sometimes grounding oneself every once in a while is a great idea.
