Default Wheel shaking
My 2000 s80 is in the shop.had my halfshafts replaced ,and still the car's left side bounces like crazy.Now they want $2200 to rebuild my transmission,stating that something inside there is making the tire wobble.My car shifts fine.Does this sound right to anyone that it could be my transmission?Thanks

Check to see if your control arm bushings are okay. I would also check your ball joint.

A bouncing tire is caused by the tranmission? Run away! Find another mechanic!
