Default Why can't I get an answer on my thread???????

I have a 2000 S80 T6 that runs good, but after it is warm and you turn the engine off, when you restart it while still warm I usually get a message that says "ENGINE SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED" and the little triangle in the middle of the gauges is orange. When I check for codes there are none, but when I erase for codes it will clear the message. WHat does this message mean??? Also once in a while a message that the DTSC needs serviced, what does that mean?
Thanks

A lot of scanners will not read all of the codes stored in a Volvo, you'll probably need to go to a Volvo shop to have it scanned.

My suggestion, stick to one question park per question

But I honestly don't know, and I'd rather give no advice than bad advice. Perhaps check your area for a volvo mechanic; usually they don't charge for simple diagnostics in my experience.

DSTC is Dynamic Stability and Traction Control. You might have a problem with one of the ABS sensors or the ABS module may be going bad. Like someone else said, try to have the codes read by a shop with a Volvo-specific scanner.
