Broke a radiator hose neck. Any fix?
Ok so I was replacing the radiator hose on the driver's side coming from the thermostat. Puting the hose in the neck and it just snapped off clean, does anyone know a way to fix this?
I have seen someone take a butane torch and a zip tie and plastic sauter part of the radiator together, anyone heard of this?

Radiator repair/replacement
Any fix for a broken neck...to fix it the correct way, you are right...replace it. I just had to replace the radiator on my S90. I thought this was going to be expensive, but located a new one at a local shop so the bill was only $155.00! It was an exact fix and only took me a few hours to do.(Ya, I'm slow) Just about all radiators have plastic end caps, so don't over tighten or stress the fittings. Going into another hot Nevada summer I will be glad I did the replacement rather than getting caught on the road somewhere!
