Hey everyone, I was wondering if there is a way to reprogram the auto lock function on my '98 V40, it will lock if the doors are open, it will lock if the keys are in the ignition and at point 1 (to my dismay) it seems the only thing that stops the car locking itself is if I have the bonnet open cant see where I am going like that tho

Also, Steel Seal, does it do any damage or clog anything up when used, I may have a gasket problem and was thinking of this instead of £500 repair bill.
