My 2001 V40 1.9 TD has a strange problem that happen only if outside temperature is high, idle become very low and motor stop himself. In this condition some time internal fan start at maximum speed, and defect is more visible if clima is on (but is only due to power required from compressor I think :>).
It's very strange, in winter this problem is not present but when temperature increase appears. In ECU are not detect any problem.
Seem that in this condition engine has no power only at minimum RPM, if you push throttle then after some second engine "restart" and over 2000RPM there is no problem (no missing power...).
Any idea?
