Help please
I've purchased several axles from different manufacturers and they are still too long they do not fit on the bearing holder what do I do. 2000 v40.

They may be for the later version. 2000 was a transition year for the S/V40. Even though the cars looks the same after, there were several suspension changes.
Right side shafts: Axle shaft, exch 1.00EU8251543CH -600204 (-2001)
Axle shaft, exch1.00EU36050315CH 600205-999999 (2001-2003), CH 1- (2003-)
Left side shafts: Axle shaft, exch1.00EU8251542CH -599999 (-2000)
Axle shaft, exch1.00EU8602741CH 600000-999999 (2001-2003), CH 1- (2003-)
Right side shafts: Axle shaft, exch 1.00EU8251543CH -600204 (-2001)
Axle shaft, exch1.00EU36050315CH 600205-999999 (2001-2003), CH 1- (2003-)
Left side shafts: Axle shaft, exch1.00EU8251542CH -599999 (-2000)
Axle shaft, exch1.00EU8602741CH 600000-999999 (2001-2003), CH 1- (2003-)
