Problems getting my rear, drivers side break caliper to compress.
Okay.. I'll start by saying that this is the first time I've ever done something like this on my own. Used to work on an old 88 Dodge Caravan for fun with my dad, but that was years ago. I am changing my break pads and my rotor. I have the caliper off, the old pads out, the rotor out and the new one installed.. but I cannot, no matter what I try, get the caliper to compress. Is there a secret? I've tried using a c-clamp.. I've tried taking a pair of plyers to spin the caliper back in.. I even went out and bought a wind back cube, but none of the fittings match up with the caliper piston. What do I do?! Please help!
