Default Help Identifying Aluminum Pipe

Hello again! I need help identifying a pipe, presumably for the cooling system, that is located in the back of the engine of my 2005 Volvo V50 T5. It is beginning to corrode. The corroded spot is located above and slightly to the left of the oil pan. From what I can tell, the aluminum pipe is about 3/4" to 1" thick and had one or two black rubber hoses coming off T-ing off of it...at least that much I can see. I think the pipe might have been heading to or from the water pump but that I couldn't tell either.

The mechanic said it was a "Coolant Pipe" but didn't leave me with anything else.

Now, this could be for something else entirely. Maybe it had something to do with the oil cooler. I don't know. A good diagram would be helpful.

Can you help? I'd like to replace it soon.

This is the best picture I could get last night. The arrow is on that particular pipe (you can see some of the corrosion. I had to lean over the engine and look at the back to get that shot.

Nevermind...took the car back to the dealer only one day of owning it and gave me my money back. After receiving lots of misfire codes for every cylinder I took it to the dealership. Turns out it had a blown head gasket.
