Hello guys, this is my first post, I'just bought a 2007 V50 2.0d, the language is in Danish and it really bugs me. Could you recommend what cable and software combination to get whitch not only reads faultcodes but also lets me upload English language pack for example. Thank you.

Ok, I understand. I've sent a mail to the nearest dealer. But I'd really need a diagnostics tool and cable that works, because the nearest dealer is about 100 kms away... And I'm not fond of paying for easy thing that I can do at home... Thanks

 

That you can do on your own. There are many various code readers and scanners.

 

Would anyone name something useful? What about Vida for ex., how does it work? Cable+interface+software combo? I there anything that works directly via usb-obd cable without an interface? For example I can hook up my bike only via cable, and the software installed on my laptop lets me diagnose everything in real time, change values for when the fan kicks in, ignition timing, etc. I'm looking for something similar, not only an error code reader.

 

VIDA is the best. It's what we use at the dealer. VIDA is the software. DiCE is the hardware you also need.
