I'm new to the forum and would thank all in advance- I just purchased the above and the cel came on immediately. The code initially said I needed a mas sensor which I replaced. The car ran worse. It will not rev over 4000rpm -goes into limp mode- and the idle fluctuates. I took off the neg. battery and that cleared the cel for awhile. It ran fairly well and then went back to bad and the cel came on again. Hooked up the code reader and it now says p0138 02 circuit-bank1 sensor 2. Could this 02 sensor cause all these problems ? Whe it decides to run well it's great and I really like it,but that is rare. The car has 158k on it. I'm getting frustrated and don't want a money pit. Any suggestions would be appreciated MUCH.

Did you put the old mas back on and did you check the wires really good? Have no idea about the 02 Sensor.

 

I'm going to try that-The old mas had no wires in it but the car ran better with it.
