2001 v70 pcv problem

I have a whistling sound that sounds like a belt chirp; as I have researched the problem what I have determined is that the sound is related to the PCV positive crankcase ventilation.

What needs to be done to repair or clean the system?

Never heard of a whistling sound. If the system needs serviced it's probably best to simply replace it.
