Does anyone know how to get the hood open when the cable breaks. I'm hoping you don't to take the front end apart

 

Hello, Sorry for this horribly incomplete answer. I read a post which involves removing the left headlight assembly to gain access. I think breaking the yellow lens was involved. I'm very uncertain about this. Search other boards and/or ask at a dealer. They might provide the least destructive route. Anybody else? Kira

 

Mine also just broke on the inside of the car by the handle. If that is your case there might be a little cable still left. You can use a pliers to open the hood. You have to pull the cable at the correct angle and use a little strength.
