2002 Volvo V70 Service To expect
I have a 2002 V70. I love the car, but every time I take it in for scheduled service such as the 75,000 mile service, they find something a little more major wrong. Today I dropped it for the 75,000 mile service and I got a call about an hour after I had left that I had an exhaust leak. Last time it went in for an oil change it was a control arm, if I recall correctly. Is this just typical of Volvo's? I love the car and really do not want to drive any other make or kind of car, well except maybe an XC90...but this finding something wrong every time it gets minor or major service is bothering me. Any comments?
THANKS...
THANKS...
More or less, at 70+K miles things go bad.
These cars seem to have a 60-80K turnaround, by that I mean every 70K or so you have to do a lot of service and replace a bunchparts and it's good for another 70K miles...

+1 to rowingman, I have a dealer here that does the same thing to me and my mother and law, always finding something. Get a second opinion. I found a good local guy who specializes in Volvos. No problems so far.
