2005 V70 A/C High pressure side 17mm nut
This question is a bit convoluted but the problem has become a real issue since it was 107 here in Dallas just last week.
I decided to check the freon level on our 2005 V70 since it was not quite as cold as it had been. I found what I thought was the low side connection port positioned near the radiator. It has a cap on it that says "6Nm" while taking that off I suddenly heard R134 coming out...I was baffled at what happen since I was only taking the connection cap off. Finally figured out not only was that the high pressure connection but that is for some warped reason has a 17mm nut at the base of the connection which can be tightened. I need to be able to tighten this maybe a 1/4 turn so I can refill the system since all my R134 leaked out!
None of my standard sockets fit so I purchased a "deep" 17mm socket...nope... it will not go all the way down either. Are there any suggestions or a special tool that I can use to tighten this? I it is a amazing tight spot surrounded buy a lot of things that I so not want to take off just to turn a nut a 1/4 turn. Plus it looks like it was designed for a socket and if possible I'd like to use that Vs. a wrench.
Thanks in advance for any tips anyone can give.
