Default cv axle vibration

Hello, I just bought a 2002 v70 2.4T with auto transmission. 1st volvo I've owned. Love the car but don't know much about them yet. The car has a significant front end shimmy during acceleration (especially between 40-60mph), but rides very smooth if i take my foot off of the accelerator. Previous owner said the problem started after he had new cv axles installed. He said the local volvo dealer said it was due to poor quality axles from NAPA Autoparts vs good quality parts from the dealer. This all makes sense to me but I would love some input before I pay the $1400.00 to have new dealer axles installed.
Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket axles? My instinct is telling me it may be a defective axle rather than just overall poor quality products from NAPA Autoparts, but I just don't know.

Any input would be very appreciated.

The PO is probably correct in his diagnosis as there is no vibration while coasting. Cheap Chinese axles will definitely do that.

Instead of Volvo axles you could buy high quality aftermarket axles from Raxles.

Possible good news. I located a local cv axle rebuild shop that sounded very confident in being able to take old OEM axles and rebuild them to new standards. He said the chinese reman axles can't really be rebuilt, but thinks he can find me some OEM from a local salvage yard. Cost will be in the 350.00 range vs the 1400.00 range if I had to buy new ones from the dealer.
