I picked my 2G 2000 V70 up from my transmission guy today. he doesn't want to touch it until I get the electronics fixed. He said it could be the multi-switch. It looked like someone had messed with it. As i was driving home i got 3 messages. "Tranmsission Service Required", SRS service needed urgent" and "Exhaust system service required". Am I best to take it to a DEALER for reliable diagnostics?

The transmission and exhaust messages only appeared when it got hot. It runs fine when its cold and then the transmission starts to get really rough. I don't think its very safe. It seems that all the sensors or the comuter in general is a bit screwy.

 

Yes take it to the Dealer.
