a lite question :)
Hey, I never knew they went off with high beams. What I meant in the first post is, is it possible to have the fog lights come on automatically when switching on the lights? instead of having to press the button.
The timer board's relay output is soldered (with a piece of wire off course) to the back of the pc board in the light switch module, on the fog light push button. So the 2 switches are in parallel. That way you aren't bypassing anything, you are just pushing the button electronically (instead of physically pushing it with your finger).
No Porb.
The reason I did it this way is because, as you know, damn near everything is software controlled (light switch gives input to controller and controller then decides what to do) and I didn't want to end up with a situation where the controller would start throwing errors or worse, burn something up
(don't know how that could happen, but I don't want to be the first to figure out how
).
