Got some 20's for nothing off my mom's old XC90, but the chrome is shot. Going to get them blasted and powder coated black but I can't decide on flat, matte, or gloss. What do you guys think?

FYI: theses are the wheels but not the rubber I will be running. Just using them as a mock up. I hit the wheels with a flat black rattle can. Turns out I will need a set of hub rings, but I found a set online for $28.

With powder coating I can get almost any color...

What were you thinking? I was just going for the blacked out look.

 

- Gunmetal

- Gunmetal with a red lip

- a darker Bronze

- Silver not chrome

 

Gunmetal or Anthracite would be my choice, but I basically do not like black wheels at all. Reminds me too much of my young days where took the hub caps off and painted steel wheels black.

This is what I went with. Steel Gray Pearlescent is the color name, powdercoated. Running 245/30/20 Yokohama Advan ST's and about a 1.5" drop.
