I have a 2001 V70 T5 with 110,000 miles. I had the oil changed a couple of thousand miles ago and as I drove home from the change, the MAF failed, so it is two months old. Now, when I take a slow right turn (onto a side street for example) my oil light comes on for a few seconds and turns right off. It only happens at slower speeds and only on right turns (not left). I am thinking maybe the oil pump may be going. Any ideas? Thanks.

When the oil light comes on, check the engine Rpm, I betthey fall low enough to cause a temporary drop in pressure.
Have you had the ETM Software upgraded? This will steady your idle. It is a free recall from Volvo. Call the dealer.

 

Could also be the oil cross over pipe in the oil pan. There is o-rings that go bad.
The oil pan would have to come off to replace them.
