Default Retrofitting Nivomat shocks

Can the self-leveling Sachs Nivomat shocks be fitted to a (2WD) '93 V70 2.4T?

My question is why would you want to do this?

Big dog and large loads - the only thing I miss about my old '94 E320 wagon is the self-leveling rear.

You've probably long since resolved this "problem", but here is my take. I believe the self-leveling Nivomat uses a lighter spring because the shock is providing an active component. Thus I would expect the combination to be a mismatch.

You could check with IPD as they are very helpful on these issues. You may just want "overload" springs which they also sell. A much less expensive solution.
