anyone know how to get to the sunroof motor, mine stopped working and I have a feeling it's more than the fuse (if there is one). I don't want to tear apart headliner what's the easiest way to inspect the motor/cables or whatever is driving this thing?

 

2001 V70?

There is a fuse - #34 in the passenger compartment fuse box.

On the V70 up to 2000 the motor is behind the interior light. It may be the same on yours but I have nothing in my books to confirm this.

 

I had a guy check it out yesterday, said fuse was fine but no power getting to motor. Don't know if its worth pulling motor only to find out motor is fine but relay or something is bad.

 

Same issue here on my 01 xc.... Havent inspected yet .. Just hasnt worked since we got it. Is there any common failure issues? Relay, switch, motor ect? Good thing motors arent cheap.... 70 bucks on fleabay
