Default Vibration When Braking

Hi, I,m new to the forums and need some assisstance please.
When driving at 60 to 65 mph i am getting a vibration in the steering wheel.
Also when i brake at high speed (90-95mph) i still get an erraticvibration, the harder i brake the worse it is.
Recent work i,ve had done includes.
1. Wheels Balanced.
2. Sway Bar Drop Links Replaced.
3. Lower Arm Bushes Replaced ( Cotton Reel Type)
New Discs Have Probably Done 30,000 miles.
Any Suggestions Please.
Thanks Kevin.

Sounds like warped rotors to me. I would hope that any play in the wheel assembly was found during the wheel balancing. Of course it can't hurt to lift the car and check.

On a side note, I had to chuckle when you mentioned braking at high speed (90-95 mph). In this era of high gas prices, I've become a stereotypical volvo driver around Boulder. It's pretty sad really. I don't remember the last time I've had to brake at those speeds. Maybe some time soon...just to remember what it's like. :-)

Sounds like warped rotors to me also, but could also be a bent wheel. What kind of brake pads are you using?
