Hi everyone, I’m going to help a friend change the oil on her ‘19 XC40 T4 this weekend. Is it possible to use a fluid extractor to remove the oil on the XC40?

You still will have to remove the bottom engine cover to change the oil filter so why and how would you extract the oil instead if draining the oil? I don’t believe you can extract the oil as there isn’t a dipstick. I have a 2016 S60 and a 2021 XC40 and neither have dipsticks as the oil level is gauged electronically so there is no place to extract oil from.
