I have a 2024 XC50 Recharge and have regular problem with the charge handle not releasing when charging and not connecting when I attempt a charge. Have been to the dealer twice and on last visit the port was replaced. Unable to release the next morning and all day. Screen says “cable unlock pausd.” Any ideas? Can’t drive the car in current condition.

 

I have had this happen to my 2018 xc60 plugin. I was able to release cable by turning ignition on and then off. Or lock the doors and unlock them.

 

I have tried everything with no luck, locking and unlocking doors, turning car off and on, and using a hair drier. The port lock pin will not budge until it is good and ready.
