Several times after stopping at a light or stop sign, when pressing accelerator, the car hesitates I have to press accelerator several times before the car will go. Has anyone else seen this issue ? The car only has about 6000 miles. Gas Engine.

First thing is to make sure you are using the required fuel octane. Fill with 93 on your next tankful. If it persists, make a note of what's going on (ie does this happen when the car is cold or hot etc) and see if you can recreate so when you go back to the dealer they can experience for themselves.

 

I always use 93 Octane. I will take note but usually the car is up to temp when this occurs. Unless the symptom gets a lot worse , I will let the shop know when I take it in for the 10K service.
