I just purchased a 2026 XC60 and expected to use wired CarPlay with my iPhone, but was pleasantly surprised when Google Android accessed my iPhone address book, favorites, etc. There's even the messages app so I thought I'd abandon CarPlay and adapt to Android. However, I'm finding it to be erratic and unreliable. Sometimes it doesn't find my phone, phone calls fail, and there is no contacts list.

Is this a configuration problem on my part, or is this typical for iPhones and Google Android?

I'm loving the XC60.
