Hello everyone,
My name is Ross, just leased my first Volvo ever 2020 XC60 T5 Momentum AWD, heard lots of positive things.
I was planning to get the Inscription model, but after the test drive didn't like the extension of the seat and opted for the Momentum version with Advanced and Premium packages. The sales person assured me that I wouldn't miss any major functionalities with the Momentum version.
But now I discovered that Inscription has 'Cross Traffic Alert w/ Autobrake'
and Momentum doesn't.
At the same time under the 'Safety and Security' section they both have "Collision Avoidance by City Safety Detects Vehicle/Pedestrian/Cyclist/Large Animal"

My question is:
Will my car autostop detecting Pedestrians and Large objects?

Your Momentum has Collision Avoidance, i.e. will detect people, etc. going forward and automatically brake. For the Momentum, the Premium Package includes Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Alert, so you should be ok. The Inscription includes these without an additional package. Check your options via the center console, swipe right and you should see them, leave selected. If you don't know, Cross Traffic Alert detects hazards when you're backing up.
