Default XC60 Speaker Issue

I leased a 2019 XC60 last May. Shortly after bringing it home I noticed a rattle coming from the driver and passenger door speakers. After taking it to the dealer I was told that they put extra insulation into the speakers and it solved the problem. It seemed to be fixed until I drove it home and noticed the problem was exponentially worse— particularly the drivers side door speaker. It sounds like someone is holding a plastic grocery bag to the speaker.
I brought the car back to the dealer and they said there is a broken clip inside the door frame and had to order a new one. I returned to the dealer today to have it installed and they ended up giving me a loaner vehicle after 2 hours because they said the new piece did not fix the problem and they don’t know what the issue is. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how was it fixed? If not, is there anyone with expertise as to what could be the problem? I am at my wits end because I can’t use the stereo system in a car that retails for $55k.

there's a difference between not knowing what the cause is (yet) and not knowing how to fix. there's not a lot of variables here, plus the car's still under warranty right? rattles/vibrations can be the speaker not being secured to its mount, or something else within the door panel is vibrating including the speaker itself. The only other cause would be the source signal - all they'd need to do is hook an external speaker to test. Given you have two bad speakers, I'd look closely at the amp/head unit Seems odd that two doors would both have bad clips or bad speakers... Keep pressing the dealer or escalate to Volvo for factory support.

In addition to all of this, I had noted to them that when using Apple CarPlay, the speaker In the dash has static when giving directions. I changed the wire I was using and the problem still persists. I asked if it could be a possible electrical issue, but they had never addressed it (at least to my knowledge). The car is still under warranty, which is why I have been repeatedly bringing it back. I have two dealers within 15 minutes of my home. I have been using the one I purchased from, but am thinking about taking it to the other just to see what they say.

That's what I'd do. I'd simply go to the other dealer and explain what's not been done to get the car right. Make sure you keep all documentation. Noting that you're hearing static with carplay suggests a component issue or perhaps a ground wire issue.

I have the exact same issues. Are you referring to the HK sound system. So far I’ve had all front speakers replaced and the noises still persist. Mine has done it since 2 months old, 2,000 miles.
I want it fixed soooo bad!!!
