Hood won't relatch after opening (Volvo XC70)
I have a 2003 XC70 that I bought used back in September. I just popped the hood to jump start a friend's car, and now the hood won't re-latch. The middle latch grabs, but the 2 main latches do not.
The release lever on the inside driver's side does not snap back into position (kind of hangs in the open position.)
Seems like a cable may have snapped or come loose?
One other note I live in Ohio and it has been an exceptionally cold January, and is about 15 degrees F outside.

Similar thing happened to me about a month ago. I just parked the XC in a heated garage overnight and the hood closed with no problems. Most likely the release cable is binding due to the cold.
