HVAC Blower on - Car OFF! i cant stop it...
...until it just decides, on its own, to stop.
Just sitting in the garage, i noticed the noise and first thought it was the fan but my wife had parked the car over an hour earlier. Tracked it down first to the cowl, then opened the door to find air blowing throught the vents! Nothing i could do to the controls would affect it. Finally i just closed the door and sat down. After about 10 more minutes it stopped.
In 50 years of working on, modifying, stipping, etc. cars, THIS is totally beyond me. Does ANYONE have a logical explanation???

Well if she had used the A/C when she drove it last then it is normal.
It is called an afterblow function. The computer kicks the fan on between 50 to 70 minutes after the last drive to dry the evaperator. This way mold cannot build up on the evaperator.
