Before I dive into changing the shocks and struts on my wife's XC70, I went to look it over a bit. The fronts seems pretty straight forward. I have a question on the rear shocks though. It looks like I will have to take apart part of the rear interior to get to the top shock mounting bolt(s).

Am I looking at it right, or is there a trick I am missing?

Sorry, I wandered into the wrong forum by accident. I know on the 850's you have to remove some carpeting to get at the top mount. On the wagon you have to remove the forward cargo door in the floor to get the trim out of the way.

 

Yes you have to move the panels to get to the nut.
