I have a 2001 XC70 with the typical transmission problem. It starts shifting roughly when hot. Recently it started slipping, as if the clutch isn't let go completely on a manual tranny. The rpms go up to 4k. If I turn the ignition off and wait a moment it sort of resets it and I'm able to drive a bit with normal shifting. Any tips to help me get home today? I really hope I won't have to tow it.
