Here's a silly, but honest question. I know the passenger side wiper blade is curved on my XC70 - but is it supposed to curve up or down? I just had my blades replaced at an after-market Volvo shop. He installed the passenger wiper concave up. Is this correct? For some reason it just seems different. I never noticed how it was installed before, only that it was curved. The owner's manual doesn't say, only points out that it's curved to match the curvature of the windshield.
Related question: Can a regular straight blade of the correct length be used or is a curved blade really needed?

Just checked on our car....it is installed curve down. Hope this helps

I switched it over to curve-down. Drove in the rain some today and it seems fine - doesn't look 'different' like it did before.
