Our 2014 XC90 with 3,900 miles on it makes a click noise both leftt and right when turing the wheel about 4-5 inches each way - so early in making a turn either way. Additionally, you can hear the click when you are sitting still and turn the wheel each way. It seems to be in the steering wheel - not the column or below.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Don't know. Hopefully someone will be along with some experience on your model.

 

The dealer had to replace the entire steering column and it was determined there was a bad bearing coming apart somewhere related to the column.
