droppoing oil pan - which seals to replace
03 xc90 with 83k miles.
Its got the "no oil pressure stop engine safely" light coming on when it gets up to running temps.
I am having my mechanic drop the pan, clean for sludge and replace all the seals and O-rings.
Does anyone remember which O-rings need to be replaced. I read somewhere there are 5, I bought the set along with the volvo sealant but need to give exact instruction to my mechanic on which seals to replace (he is not a volvo guy) and I dont remember which ones.
thanks

There are two between the pan and the bottom of the block. The oil pickup tube should be removed, cleaned and the o-ring on the end replaced. There are two seals for the oil cooler. The dipstick tube o-ring should be replaced. And I believe there is a transfer tube in the pan that can be unbolted and removed to replace the seals.

I saw a write up somewhere that stated 5 seals need to be replaced when dropping the pan:
2 for the tube in the pan 1 for the pick up in the block and 2 from the block to the pan on the passgr side
It may have been for an s80 T6 engine but I thought they were the same - does this not apply to the xc90 ? I didnt see 2 from the passgr side to the pan but the pan is not off yet.
Thanks.
