I have a 2011 xc90 6 cylinder and broke the connector that comes off the fuel filter that goes to the motor. I ordered a replacement pressure pipe PN# 30683031 and am now trying to figure out how to replace that line. My question is:
Do I have to drop the tank or can I get to the connectors from the access panels inside the cabin.
Has anyone done this?

Side note. I have never seen a fuel line that has a Y in it I am guessing one goes to the fuel tank and the other goes to the output of the fuel filter. The other side has an heat shield on it and I can assume that it the one that connects to the line that connects to the engine side.

 

My *understanding* based on earlier models is that line runs from fuel filter to hardline feeding fuel rail and injectors. The other side of the Y is a return line back to the tank.
