New Owner 2021 XC90 - Key Tag / Sport Key Question
Hey there,
I have a question that seems basic but can't get any answers.
We just bought an XC90 and it came with 3 keys:
(1) a standard key with lock/unlock buttons
(2) an standard key that is orange that I guess limits the speed of the car
(3) a Key Tag or "sport key" that is a little guy with no buttons at all
From my tests, I can successfully unlock the car with that small key, but I can't tell if it's supposed to auto-lock or not when you exit the car. From my tests it doesn't seem to lock, e.g. I get out of the car, go inside my house and leave the key there, go back outside and check the locks and the car is unlocked still.
No good info on this from Volvo or from the dealer..
any ideas?

The kick to open tailgate - a key in your pocket is required to open or close the tailgate with your foot -
thank you so much!!!
With any key in your pocket - touch the square on the outer door handle to lock the car. The cars do not auto lock when you walk away, they do unlock the door you are closest to when you pull the handle (with a key in your pocket) .

My salesman told me that if you let someone else drive the vehicle to give them the orange key and then you would have access to how they drove the vehicle or something like that. I guess it stores some sort of information.
